Wow!  Sanctuary is Newly Painted!-  Just in case you have not noticed, our sanctuary just got a new paint job!  Our special thanks to our church family member Rob for his hard work! TCF and PMF family, this is just the beginning, we have plans to completely paint all buildings on the church campus, this is something that really is needed, if we are to be good stewards of His property.  Up next will be the education building, which should start real soon.  Please church family, be in prayer, for the painting projects, fence repairs, landscaping, cleaning of classrooms, repairing and replacing old doors, windows and air conditions.  There was a dark cloud over us for a while, but that only guarantees showers of blessings are coming our way. LET'S PREPARE FOR RAIN AND THE HARVEST!

Pastor calls for 30 Days of Prayer - This Sunday, pastor will be ending his series on prayer. It has been an interesting and informative series concerning prayer.  Sunday's message (Jan. 29) will focus on how Jesus prayed for the church.  Since we are beginning a new year, we would like to encourage our church families (TCF/PMF) for the next 30 days to focus on prayer.  Pastor will be giving out a prayer guide at the morning service, to begin on Monday, Jan. 30th.  Prayer is an important part of our lives as Christians, and we want to be praying for each other and especially the church, that God will move in mighty way this year.  As you know our main focus for the new year is on prayer, outreach and getting some much needed repair work done at the church, since we are to be good stewards of His property.  Be sure to get a copy of the 30 Day Prayer handout.

Re-live that "Courageous" feeling again!  -  It's official!  TCF/PMF are now licensed for an official showing of the hit Christian movie "Courageous"!  This movie has made a huge impact on all those who have seen it!  Now, we will be showing it right here on our own Big Screen, giving you the opportunity to see it again, but better yet, now you can invite your family, friends of office workers to watch this great movie with an inspiring message!  Right now, our tentative date for the showing will be Friday, 02 Mar, at 7PM.

There will also be a follow up 4 week couple Bible study on the movie "Courageous".  If you are interested sign up now with the pastor, or go to the contact page of this website and send pastor a note stating you would like to attend.  Course books are $10 and can be used one per couple, time is short, so order your book now.  This course is scheduled for Fridays, at 7PM, starting on 09 Mar, to be held on campus.  Be sure to sign up today!  Be tuned, more information to follow.

Pacific Mission Aviation and Pacific Mission Fellowship in Partnership with TCF - PMA/PMF have joined TCF through a special partnership and have already joined together with us in worship and assisting in the teaching children's church.  United we will assist each other in missions.  PMA/PMF are actively involved in outreach to the islands and in the Philippines. They are training pastors for their established churches on the islands and in the Philippines and they operate an orphanage in the Philippines.  God is working in these outreaches and TCF has joined hands with them.  We are helping each other in outreach. PMF's senior pastor is Ed Kalau and his son is the CEO of PMA.  We pray that this partnership  will be a blessing as we stand united in reaching out with the gospel to the islands and the Philippines.  Presently,  there are many ministries going on, that we are now a part of.  PMA operates planes which help out the outer islands with medical needs and mission work, they also have a ship the "SeaHaven" which is also used in the same manner.  What a thrill it is to be involved in this outreach. If you would like to support more in what PMA does you can volunteer for mission trips, go on a mission voyage, or you can just simply donate funds. They have a special box set up in our church foyer/entrance marked PMF, where you can help financially.  Just doing that, you too are involved. Be in prayer that God's power will be manifested through this partnership.  If you want to volunteer, just see Sister Melinda or Pastor Kalau. You can call PMA at 646-6464.

Thanksgiving Celebation "Tuned In" a success!  Last month on November the 26th, Tamuning Christian Fellowship in partnership with Pacific Mission Fellowship, joined hands in a wonderful community outreach event.  The event was called "Tuned In" and was geared to spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to our community, and providing a Thanksgiving feast to those in our community.  There was plenty of lively praise music as presented by TCF praise team members as those who listened clapped along joyfully.  The Gospel was presented, then everyone went to the fellowship hall for some good food.  Our pastor fried up p some of his famous Cajun style fried turkeys, along with all  the trimmings.  Afterwards, when everyone was full, everyone went to the main chapel to watch the movie "Soul Surfer".  Overall it was a blessing!  The Gospel was preached, we made new friends and our community is becoming aware of our church.  This is just the beginning in what we are planning to do.  Plans are to have a permanent stage outside on the church grounds for future events,  our outreach plans also include showing movies on a regular basis, targeting our community.  Great things are beginning to happen!

From our leadership - As we begin a New Year,  TCF and PMF leaders have been praying and meeting about our upcoming year.  There many good things coming up, to include the painting of all our buildings on campus, this will begin soon.  Also, coming up will be a "movie ministry"  which will not only be for the edification of our own families, but also used as a tool for outreach to our community. Plans are to make this a regular event, where our community will know this is a place to come a watch a good Christian based movie, of course with each showing, the Gospel will be presented.  Another item of importance for the whole, will be our emphasis on prayer, our Wednesday nite prayer group is growing, and we are actively looking for "Prayer Warriors", these will be those who cannot attend the Wednesday prayer time, but want to be praying for the church, they will be praying at home, God willing we would like to identify 10 members on this team. If you would to be a part of this exciting new ministry, contact Pastor Ed.  Here is your opportunity to actively involved in a important ministry!  Also, after our successful event we had for Thanksgiving, we are planning to make that an annual event.  There are also some other changes which will include changes to our worship and praise.  Overall, we are looking forward to a New Year and we plan to move forward in serving our Lord. As we move forward, I would to ask everyone to look upward in prayer, as we move forward!

Work in Progress - As you come onto TCF's campus, you can already begin to see changes. There is work on the church grounds, pruning, cutting, removing and maintaining the campus. There is also beginning work on the church buildings.  Our leadership has decided re-vamp our campus, so be patient as water-blasting, and painting continues, we praying to re-paint all the buildings on campus.  Of course, all this will need funding, all repairs just come out of our budget and we are confident that God will provide. If you feel led to want to help, I am very sure Bro. Rob will be happy to have your help in anyway possible.  Or if you want to help financially,  you may use the envelopes provided at the church entrance and you may give a "love offering", just designate on the envelope "church painting".  Church family, please keep this project in your prayers, as we remain good stewards of His property.

Looking for Movie Ministry Volunteers -  I am always happy with those who come out everytime to help out on the movie nights, without your help we could never accomplish this event.  It is always a fun night and it is good to see everyone assisting in some way, the popcorn workers, parking attendants, ushers and nursery workers.  Thank you very much for your servant heart.

I would like to have a team that is dedicated to helping in these events, this would include planning, scheduling, ads, delivering flyers and setting up for events.  I am thankful always for the helpers who show up, but I would like identify a steady team of dedicated workers.  These events have a positive effect on our community, whom we are trying to outreach to, and it would be even more effective if done on a regular basis.  If you would like to be part of this team, let me know.  Keep this ministry in prayer, not only will this be a fun family night, but a wonderful to expose people to the Gospel.
